We are a pan-Cameroon mutual aid organization serving all Cameroonians across 10 regions.

2.2 Connection Verification

To verify your connection to Cameroon, we collect information about your region of origin and community ties. This may include family lineage information, proof of parentage, marriage certificates, or other documentation establishing your Cameroonian heritage.

2.3 Campaign Information

When you submit or are a beneficiary of a campaign, we collect relevant details including:

  • Medical information (for medical campaigns)
  • Death certificates and funeral details (for death/repatriation campaigns)
  • Educational enrollment information (for scholarship campaigns)
  • Supporting documents and evidence

2.4 Technical Information

We automatically collect certain information when you access our platform, including IP address, browser type, device information, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Verify your membership eligibility and Cameroon connection
  • Process and manage solidarity campaigns
  • Calculate and track chapter contribution obligations
  • Disburse funds to campaign beneficiaries
  • Communicate important updates about campaigns and network activities
  • Maintain the integrity and security of our platform

4. Information Sharing

4.1 Within the Network

Your basic membership information (name, chapter, region of origin) is visible to other verified members to foster community connection. Campaign details are shared with the network to enable collective solidarity support.

4.2 With Chapter Leadership

Chapter presidents and officers have access to member information within their chapter to facilitate local coordination, contribution collection, and community support.

4.3 Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Payment processors to facilitate fund transfers
  • Email and communication service providers
  • Cloud hosting providers for data storage
  • Legal authorities when required by law

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of sensitive data, secure authentication systems, regular security audits, and restricted access to personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Campaign records are retained for historical and audit purposes. Deceased members are transferred to our Memorial Archive where their legacy is preserved with dignity.

  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
